PhD (DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY)

PhDis a doctoral degree with an academic focus. The course can either be pursued in full-time or part-time mode but in no means can be pursued in distance mode. It is a professional degree which requires investment of time for primary and secondary research activities. Therefore, before pursuing this course, one must understand the demands of the course. On completion of PhD, one can switch to better paying career options such as academics or research activities.

Duration- MIN: 3-years, MAX: 6 Years

Eligibility- Any candidate who has passed his/her Master’s examination in the concerned subject from India/foreign University recognized by UGC with a score of not less than 55% marks in aggregate.

Scope

A PhD degree holder can apply for the post of Research Associate, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor & Professor.
